Patty Akkad, longtime resident of Acton and community supporter, recently awarded a donation of $2000.00 to the Acton Community Center. This donation was from the Rima Grant of the sCARE Foundation, established in the name of Rima Akkad Monla. Moustapha Akkad and Rima were killed in the hotel bombings in Amman, Jordan on November 11, 2005. Rima, Patty's daughter, is remembered with a lovely tree planted in her name on the grounds of the Acton Community Center.

The Acton Community Board of Directors are hoping you all are safe and healthy. We are doing everything possible to sustain our daily expenses, which includes paying the insurance, taxes, utilities and maintenance. Now, more than ever, the Acton Community Center

operations and hold future community events such as Paint Nights and Spaghetti dinners for you and your
